Norwegian Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas Delayed by Heavy Weather

We have recently posted about the departure of the world’s largest cruise ship, Norwegian Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas,  (The Oasis of the Seas Puts to Sea.)   Despite her considerable size, the North Atlantic has not grown any smaller either.  It has been reported that the ship has encountered nearly hurricane strength winds and waves in excess of 40 feet high.  Reports indicate that he ship has performed well in the rough weather. She is expected to be  be delayed by two days in her arrival in Port Everglades, Florida.
